WHAT happens next is up to you!
--- Something far beyond our ability to comprehend created the universe and all that is in it. The He, She, It or an Infinite Intelligence created everything for a purpose and that includes you. There is a reason you are here. You are not an accident, a mistake or filler material in the overall Grand Plan. You are important to us all, even the ones who do not yet know you. The world has never been short of problems that need solving. There is no calling in life higher than service to others. As you serve others with solutions, you create value in their lives, and your own. The world greatly rewards problem solvers. Where would you most prefer to make a difference?
"The Better Lessons"
Art Williams' "Just Do it!"
From the wisest man I ever met...
"The Trip of a Lifetime!"
--- Day-by-day, you're traveling into the future. You're bartering your life away, one day at a time, for whatever good may come into you life. Good end results are caused by good actions. Do nothing special = get nothing special. Do a little bit = get a little bit. Do a lot = get a lot. You are the cause of the end result you end up living. Want more? Follow the plan...
Until you have a better plan, recipe, formula, blueprint or road map
for your life, you're invited to borrow mine.
for your life, you're invited to borrow mine.
(1) Know where you're going before you start. You have to have a goal. Life will provide literally anything you want but, the trick is, you've got to know what you want before you can have it. There may be many things you desire but, in this game, you have to pick one singular goal that means more to you than anything else. In life, you can go to both New York and Los Angeles but, you can't take both trips at the same time.
(2) After you know what it is you want, write it down, describe it in great detail. Using words, paint such a crystal clear picture of what you want even a blind man can see, with his minds eye, a picture so clear Kodak would be jealous. If it's a car you want, I want to know the make, model, two-doors or four, hard top or convertible, exterior color, interior color, option package, engine size, automatic or straight stick, does it have bucket seats or bench, are the seats heated, covered in cloth, or leather, does it have OnStar, does it have satellite radio, can you plug in an mp3 player to your radio, does the rear seat have a TV-video player, what style of wheel covers did you choose, did you get the long-term maintenance package, did you finance it through the dealer or a bank, where did you get your insurance, where in your yard will you park it, who will drive it more often than anyone else.
(3) From the moment you have done steps one and two, mentally take possession of what you want. Think about it as though you already have it, talk about it as though you already have it. In your mind, see it, feel it, smell it, taste it, touch it, hear it. You conscious mind knows you have set the wheels in motion to get what you want. What you want will be yours soon. Your subconscious mind, incapable of making value judgements, will program your thoughts, feeling and actions in such a way that your attitudes and actions will be that of someone who already has what you desire.
(4) Decide what you are willing (the keyword here is 'willing') to do to get what you want. Write it down in as great of detail as what you want. By doing whatever you have to do to get what you want you will cause it to happen.
(5) Read your written goal of 'what you're doing to get what you want'... read it first thing when you get up in the morning and just before bedtime for at least 30 days. At the end of 30 days, you will have developed one more habit that causes successes.

How to be "Habitually Successful"
(Habit Development) Target the activities that contribute to your success that you DON'T LIKE TO DO. For thirty days, do them anyway. After 30 days these activities will be 'programmed' deep into your subconscious mind. After that, you'll do these activities 'automatically' without making a conscious value judgement of whether or not you like... or don't like... to do the activity. This is how you develop any habit and can become "habitually successful."
Success
Success is having "Total Peace of Mind" in every area of your life.
Knowing the "What-How-Why" creates your "Triangle of Success"
--- To be successful at anything you have to (1) Know WHAT it is you want, want to do, want to be, want to become, want to learn more about, (2) Know HOW to do what needs to be done, and you have to (3) Know WHY you're willing (KEY WORD: willing) to do what you have to do, to succeed.
--- The longer your list of "Reasons Why", the greater your chances of success. If you have enough "Reasons Why" you can endure anything you have to do to have whatever you want. If you don't have enough "Reasons Why" to do what you have to do to be successful, you'll always find "Reasons Why" you'd rather be doing something else with your time.
--- The POWER OF CHOICE has been yours, since the day you were born. Each decision you make takes you to a completely different future.
--- In the absence of knowing how to do what needs to be done, find someone, or a group of someones, who has already achieved what you want to achieve and adopt them as your mentor(s). In essence, "Learn From The Giants."

Your "Self-Image" is your Internal Guidance System
--- How you see yourself, your self-image, pre-determines every aspect of your life: How you think; How you feel; How you dress; How you behave; How successful/unsuccessful you are. Literally everything!
--- For centuries, ships at sea depended on lighthouses to help guide them through the unknown darkness of night. Pilots today use the Global Positioning Satellite navagation system and electronics to automatically and safely fly the largest planes in the sky without constant conscious thought from the human-pilot.
--- If you BELIEVE (have internalized) a self-image of you being successful in your quest to achieve a very specific objective, most likely you will succeed. If you BELIEVE (have internalized) a self-image of you failing in your quest to achieve, chances are, that's exactly what will happen.
--- The good news is, you believe what you believe based primarily on input from others, not on fact. If you grew up in a loving family who laughted at anyone who had a bigger dream than they did, chances are, you will too. Your family, your extended family, your friends, your teachers and preachers, anyone you trusted told you what you was expected of you. You trusted them because you knew they loved you and cared about you. Surely they wouldn't lie to you. They didn't. What they did do was verbalize THEIR LIMITATIONS and you thought what they said defined your own reality. Not true! Not true!
--- Did you know you can retrain your brain?
--- Your brain has two distinct parts, your conscious mind and your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind is executive in nature. It only knows how to analyze and process 'ideas, decisions and actions', in real time. Your subconscious mind has a Zero IQ. It processes nothing. It's only function is to store/warehouse your lifelong collection of 'beliefs, attitudes and skills'. Your subconscious is incapable of making any kind of value judgment. It only knows, here's another idea, store it. Your self-image is stored in the warehouse of your subconscious mind, and functions like an 'automatic pilot', automatically keeping you doing what you think you're supposed to be doing, based on your own self-image.
--- Here's where it gets really interesting.
--- Since your subconscious mind doesn't know real from imagined, truth from fiction, it only knows to accept all ideas for storage. You can "fool" your subconscious mind by feeding it continuous, focused, conscious thoughts of you being super successful at (1) doing what you want to do; (2) be/being what you'd like to be/become; (3) having what you desire; (4) going where you want to go; or (5) learning more about anything you want to learn more about. This is how you rebuild your self-image.
--- Only you get to choose what you think about. Only you get to choose your attitude. Only you get to control your own imagination. Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. It's life's version of "Previews of Coming Attractions." Your mentality creates your reality. Using your imagination to retrain your brain, only you get to choose... how big your life is going to be.
--- Whatever you think about, focus upon, and do for 30 continuous days becomes an automatic habit. Begin thinking and doing the things that lead to a more successful life. Habit by habit, you will be building a successful life. Ultimately, you will have justifiably earned a reputation of being, "habitually successful" at anything you desire. What a great way to live your life!
Think it's tough for you? Listen to Carolyn's story...
--- This next story is an example of why American private enterprise is so great. Using profits from previous commercial activity, this one man and a few of his friends solved a major medical problem that the government would have likely spent several hundred million dollars attempting to create the same end result.
--- When you see a problem that needs to be solved, ask yourself two questions: If not now, then when? If not me, then who?
There are even more inspiring stories on the way...
