Coach John Wooden
October 14, 1910 - June 4, 2010
John Robert Wooden was an American basketball player and coach. Nicknamed the "Wizard of Westwood", he won ten NCAA national championships in a 12-year period, seven in a row... as head coach at UCLA, an unprecedented feat. Within this period, his teams won a record 88 consecutive games. He was named "National Coach of the Year" six times.
With profound simplicity, Coach John Wooden redefined success and created "The Pyramid of Success" that has applications in every person's life.

From "TED Talks" on YouTube, COACH JOHN WOODEN
With profound simplicity, Coach John Wooden redefines success and urges us all to pursue the best in ourselves. In this inspiring talk he shares the advice he gave his players at UCLA, quotes poetry and remembers his father's wisdom.
John Wooden's "12 Lessens in Leadership"
(01) Good values attract good people.
(02) Love is the most powerful four-letter word.
(03) Call yourself a teacher.
(04) Emotion is your enemy.
(05) It takes 10 hands to make a basket.
(06) Little things make big things happen.
(07) Make each day your masterpiece.
(08) The carrot is mightier than a stick.
(09) Make greatness attainable by all.
(10) Seek significant change.
(11) Don't look at the scoreboard.
(12) Adversity is your asset.
(Even More) Wisdom from Coach John Wooden
Ability is a poor man's wealth.
Adversity is the state in which man most easily becomes acquainted with himself, being especially free of admirers then.
We're all absolutely equal in having the opportunity to make the most of what we have.
Attitude of Gratitude

We hope you are finding plenty of useful information on these pages that has real value in your life. Information that helps you to achieve a larger number of your hopes, dreams, desires, wishes, and goals.
There is so much more valuable information "in the pipeline" headed your way. Money makes all worthwhile projects possible. Lack of money stops anything good from happening. If you would be kind enough to "show your attitude of gratitude" for what you are finding on these pages by making a (you-choose-the-amount) donation, we will be forever grateful.
One of the primary projects we need funding for is the production of a (FREE) 70-minute CD (or) (FREE) mp3 download for every high school and college age student in America. CD content that teaches the "real world basics" of how-to's: a healthy mind and body; time management skills; relationships skills; and money management skills. Essentially, we'd like to teach young people how to think better, make better decisions and take the kinds of actions that lead to a productive and rewarding future.
Your kindness and donation will help to turn this "wonderful idea into a serious reality" for every student in America!
Thank You.
