The more you learn about people, the better you will understand yourself.
On the day you were born, you came 'pre-packaged' with four basic situational survival skills to deal with every major situation you were likely to face during your lifetime. You are pre-programmed to either (1) FLEE the situation, (2) FIGHT the situation, (3) FEED on the situation, or (4) SEXUALLY REPRODUCE with the situation.
Beyond the four basics, everything else you learned as you grew up.
Since birth, you have had many known and unknown powers, the greatest of which is, "You have always had the power to take control of your own mind and direct it to any end result you desire." (Andrew Carnegie)
Why do people do the things they do?
Everything you have ever done throughout your life you did trying to satisfy one of only sixteen basic desires that motivated your actions and defined your personality. In the book, "WHO AM I", author Steven Reiss, Ph.D., identified these sixteen psychological needs as: (1) Acceptance, (2) Curiosity, (3) Eating, (4) Family, (5) Honor, (6) Idealism, (7) Independence, (8) Order, (9) Physical Activity, (10) Power, (11) Romance, (12) Saving, (13) Social Contact, (14) Status, (15) Tranquility, and (16) Vengeance. (You'll find more information about these 16 subjects in other parts of this website.)
You are managing (controlling) your life balancing six different areas that compliment each-other: (1) Your mind's ability to THINK. (2) The health and longevity of your BODY, the life-support system for your brain. (3) Your knowledge of and management of your TIME. (4) Your knowledge of and management of your MONEY. (5) Your knowledge of and management of your RELATIONSHIPS. (6) Your knowledge of and management of your LIFESTYLE (which includes your personal mental and physical environment). (You'll find more information about these six primary subjects and their individual related sub-categories in other parts of this website.)
Most of the knowledge you acquired in life you may have accepted as being true because you were learning from people you trusted, your parents, relatives, friends, teachers, preachers and co-workers or you learned it from a so-called "authority" on the subject. What you may not have realized at the time is these "centers of influence" in your life gave you their view of truth which many times was flat out wrong. The information you received was passed from them to you through a series of their "mental filters." Each of those "centers of influence" told you whatever they told you based on THEIR lifelong collection of 'beliefs, attitudes, skills, ideas, decisions and actions.'
As this information was transmitted to you, you, once again filtered the new information through your own unique set of "mental filters" based your your lifetime collection of 'beliefs, attitudes, skills, ideas, decisions and actions.' As you took in the information presented to you, if it didn't fit through your existing "filters" at the time, you probably rejected the idea(s) as simply being wrong. (You'll find more information about "BASIDA", [ Beliefs - Attitudes - Skills - Ideas - Decisions - Actions ] in other parts of this website.)
Is it possible, you have made many important decisions in your life based on information you thought was true but, as it turns out, was not as truthful as you originally thought it was?
May I make a few recommendations?
(1) Question everything you think you know. See if it holds up based on your own independent research.
(2) Learn how to learn. Make sure you have the best possible understanding of the how the "universal tools" (the natural laws, rules and regulations) provided to everyone regardless of who you are can work in your favor as you pursue a better life. And pay special attention to why the people who have/do/will make up your life are motivated to do the things they do.
(3) Choose your teachers wisely. Seek out the experienced experts. Don't go to the neighborhood bakery for financial advice. Don't go to the neighborhood banker for advice on how to make a chocolate cake. If you do, the end result might not be to your liking.
Whatever you decide you want to achieve in your life, go to the people who have already done what you want to do. They know how it's done based on experience. The EXPERIENCED advisor is always going to be your best source of accurate advice. Mom, Dad, or Uncle Fred may love you but, if their view of what is possible for you is based on what they couldn't do or didn't do in their own lives, please, do not accept their advice as the final word on the subject.
And while we're in this neighborhood...
DON'T EVER LET ANYONE STEAL YOUR DREAM! If you succeed in life on a level far beyond the family and friends who have been a part of your life, your level of success might embarrass some of those people and people don't like to be one-upped by anyone, sometimes, even by other family members. If anyone in your circle tries to discourage you from "going for your dream', back away from them and find people who know that what you want to do is simply an IDEA, a DECISION, followed up with a COMMITMENT TO ACHIEVE, CAREFUL PLANNING, PROPER PREPARATION and NON-STOP ACTION.
When you have made adequate preparation for a thing to happen, no one, not even you, can stop it from happening!
Whatever goals you choose for yourself in life, it's always going to be like going to DisneyWorld. You have to know where you're going, carefully plan how you're going to get there, properly prepare to take the trip you so carefully planned, and then, simply get in your car and follow "the written road map" you laid out for this exciting trip.
In truth, the only real limitation you have ever had was you own imagination. As Napoleon Hill said in "Think and Grow Rich", 'Anything your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.'
Imagining the total end result may seem like an over whelming and impossible task for you to achieve but, all you have to do at this moment in time is, focus your mind on only doing 'the next step' headed in the direction of where you want to end up. You must see and believe you can actually 'do the next baby step' before you will be willing to do it at all.
A journey of 1,000 steps begins by only taking one step, the first step. Repeat 1,000 times and you are exactly where you decided you wanted to be.
Go for it! Begin now! Get started! Don't ever doubt your own abilities! It's much easier than you think. And don't even think about slowing down or stopping! By the time you catch your breath, you'll already have what you want.
Let the one and only qualifier for what you go for in life be the question, "Do you want it?" If you want it, you can have it. The big secret is, given enough time, effort on your part, money to finance the next step and whatever tools the next step requires there is absolutely nothing on planet earth you can not have. And I do literally mean...
THERE IS NOTHING ON PLANET EARTH YOU CAN NOT HAVE!!! The only question is, "Do you want it?"

Success is caused by one or more things you chose to (A) do that you should do or (B) didn't do that you shouldn't do. By the same token, you will always be the primary cause of your own personal setbacks, detours, delays and failures. Failure is caused by one or more things you chose to (A) do that you shouldn't have done or (B) didn't do that you should have done. Either way, you get 100% of the credit and you get to either enjoy the benefits or suffer the consequences.
I suspect the majority of the visitors to this site want to be wealthy. Before you can have wealth, you have to fully understand what wealth is. Wealth is what you have left when all your money is gone. When you don't have a dime to your name you are still wealthy --- provided --- you have the knowledge of how to convert your ideas, skills, decisions and actions into their physical equivalent... money. All skills have varying degrees of value. You barter your skill set for dollars. If I had the skills, I could cut your grass for $50.00 in a couple of hours. If I had the skills, I could do brain surgery on your child for $25,000 in the same amount of time.
Is it possible, that LEARNING precedes EARNING? Is it possible, the AMOUNT of LEARNING is related in some way to the AMOUNT of EARNING you can expect to experience in life? As Jim Rohn has taught us all, "Formal education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune." We'll discuss money in greater detail in another part of this website.
Attitude of Gratitude

We hope you are finding plenty of useful information on these pages that has real value in your life. Information that helps you to achieve a larger number of your hopes, dreams, desires, wishes, and goals.
There is so much more valuable information "in the pipeline" headed your way. Money makes all worthwhile projects possible. Lack of money stops anything good from happening. If you would be kind enough to "show your attitude of gratitude" for what you are finding on these pages by making a (you-choose-the-amount) donation, we will be forever grateful.
One of the primary projects we need funding for is the production of a (FREE) 70-minute CD (or) (FREE) mp3 download for every high school and college age student in America. CD content that teaches the "real world basics" of how-to's: a healthy mind and body; time management skills; relationships skills; and money management skills. Essentially, we'd like to teach young people how to think better, make better decisions and take the kinds of actions that lead to a productive and rewarding future.
Your kindness and donation will help to turn this "wonderful idea into a serious reality" for every student in America!
Thank You.
